behind the brand
My name is Malu (short for Maria Luisa) and I was born and raised in Peru.
I’m the design brain behind CHEVART and I’ve been running my own business for a few years, working with some incredible brands .
I am the mom of a wonderful little girl and two furry pets, living with my family in small town in Ireland.
Design and art has been part of my life since I was very small and now my full passion.
What is the story behind the name chevart?
Well my family is truly the inspiration for it. My maiden name was Chevarria a name which originally in spanish is derived from “casa nueva” or “new home”. add to this that all things art and design inspire me, meant “Chevart” or the house of art became the perfect name!
How long have I been designing?
Graduated with graphic design degree in Toulouse Lautrec Lima-Peru an excellent School of Design and Communication.
background in advertising, marketing and graphic design and always been passionate about art and design it’s important for me to create work that’s not only beautiful, but also strategic and meaningful too.
Worked in studios and ad agencies with experience in fashion, styling, decoration catalogues and photoshoot campaigns.
Graphic designer with an amazing corporation; Yanbal International, designing makeup and beauty monthly catalogues for Latin American market.
Since I move to Ireland I took on my Freelance Design journey and haven’t looked back since! I have designed beautiful brands, websites, packaging and so much other great stuff for amazing clients also working like in-house designer for companies for short time projects.
And thanks to Instagram and Pinterest for amazing clients around the world.

This is where the best part starts! research is done, the concept is born and all the ideas begin to flow. designing a solid concept and presenting these showing typography, colour schemes and visuals so you can fully see your new brand or website.

I will take your feedback when you tell me what works for you and what doesn’t, making any necessary revisions until you are happy to go ahead and create a brand that works successfully.

When you are happy and totally in love with your brand/website it is ready for transfer and launch! with final touches launch date arrives and you can show your new project to the world!
